FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

Why choose me as a tutor?

I understand that choosing a tutor is a tricky process. Certainly my tech heavy background doesn’t immediately scream “tutor”, but tutoring and educating is and has always been a passion of mine. I highly value education, truth and knowledge and work to stay up-to-date with all recently discovered facts and educational trends. My goal is for all students I work with to succeed and for that process to be as painless as possible - if not enjoyable and fun. I have over eight years professional experience, as well as, probably close to ten years unpaid and/or volunteer experience on top of that. The results of the progress and breakthroughs that students make while working with me really speaks for itself and I would be happy to share those real life examples upon request.

Why choose me as a programmer or designer?

Frankly there are a lot of freelancers and consultants these days. I do my best to set myself apart by being available, flexible and custom fit every project to exactly what the client wants. From the first meeting, I set reasonable timelines and expectations that I hold myself to and communicate with each step along the way so that everyone is on the same page and aware of the progress and have time to make adept changes as work is progressing.

Do I Have a Resume or references?

Yes. Both are available on request.

What are my rates for services?

My rates vary depending on location, age of student, type of tutoring, the goals of our sessions, etc. My rates are flexible while still competitive and I am willing to negotiate if price is a barrier. Remote tutoring services start at $35 /hour with some services being $60 / hour. For more details please reach out.

How much Does It cost for a project?

I do not have an easy answer. Each project I have worked on is different and so costs will vary. But I have competitive pricing and give a personal attention to detail and my clients that my clients have reported is second to none.
